Seated Buddha of the Future in lotus position with legs crossed and soles pointing to the sky. The right hand is raised in front of the chest showing the abhaya mudra, fear of welcoming and fearlessness. The other hand is placed in the lap with the palm facing upwards. The Buddha is dressed in a long wavy garment which is fanning out underneath. The chest is adorned with beaded necklaces, the arms with bracelets and armlets. The head is slightly bent forward in a devout pose, a tender smile on his face and the eyes downcast, a peaceful expression. Large ear pendants decorate the earlobes and the curly front hair is matted by a tiara encircling the three-tiered bun topped by a diamond. From the back the thin hairlines become visible.
