Low Colonial Style Market Chair from India w/Woven Seat. A low, deep colonial era market chair from New Delhi with back, sides and feet in turned wood. Joints are reinforced with metal and supports are added for the back. Painted in red, blue and green. Woven seat in red and tan. Acquired in the 1980s, New Delhi, India. From the collection of Barbara Porter & Robert Wincuinas.
Dimensions are 26.5 in h x 21 in w x 27 in d. Condition is fair to good. Surface wear throughout. Paint is worn, chipped and faded. Rust to metal. Two spindles are missing in front. Fragile. Please call or email for a detailed condition report.
