Here is a nice project for someone to complete. This is a 1980 Fender Musicmaster guitar. SERIAL NUMBER: S 811230. COLOR: Black Finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs 11.6ozs (3kg/500g). Obviously, it’s going to need some parts however it is in good vintage condition. Matching serial stickers confirm that the body and neck were together. The black finish body has marks and scratches however nothing major, please see for yourself. Fender serial number sticker in the neck cavity stamped S 811230. The neck is in very good condition, very clean. Decal is underneath the finish with the serial number S 811230. Tuners on the back headstock are still gleaming while the front headstock has some nice patina. Neck is straight, 7.25 radius, C shape profile. The frets are in very good condition, minor wear with plenty of life left. Stamped at the butt is 45001801 denoting 45 for the model, 00 for the rosewood fretboard, 18 being the week, 0 for the year of 1980 and 1 being the first day of the week Monday. So here you go, a nice project that won’t take a whole lot of effort. Musicmaster comes with a Fender gig bag. As always please see all photos for more detail and ask any questions prior to bidding.
