Earlier updates on this pitcher description described it may have included his grandson Dwayne putting on the face. Dwayne did indeed assist Burlon both circa 1990 and then again toward the last couple years of life as demand for his works went bananas. But this is indeed only Burlon. And the folksy somewhat crude is understandably that way because an 88 y/o very close (months) to the end of his life in 2002, created this work. Stands 7.5" by 7" and is stamped w/ Burlon's stamp and scratch marked 'Age 88' on the base.
