Jose Maria ServÂn (1917-1983) was a prominent Mexican artist and member of the 'Pintores Jovenes de Jalisco' (Young Painters of Jalisco). First a student of Chucho Reyes (1880-1977), he later worked closely with Jose Clemente Orozco (1883-1949) on various murals around Guadalajara. His work can be found in Latin America, the US, and Europe.
