Rufino Tamayo (Mexican, 1899-1991). Woodcut on thin Japon tissue paper titled "Virgen," ca.1931, depicting the Virgin Mary, head bowed in prayer, flanked by two angels. Pencil signed along the lower right; further signed in the plate along the lower left.
