Mexico, ca. 1940's. Four pins - each marked Spratling / Silver / Made in Mexico. One stylized conch shell, approx. 2.75" x 2", 20gr; rectangular pin of Pan American Union insignia, approx. 1.5"h x 1.25"w, 16gr., ca. 1945; flying eagle pin, approx. 2" x 2.5", 22gr; Together with silver plated parrot and serpent pin, stamped Spratling of Mexico, Silson Inc., approx. 2" x 2.5", 32gr. (In 1940, Spratling agreed to provide some of his designs for the Silson Company, which would fabricate those designs in silver plate or other non-sterling material.
