late 20th century, high-fire porcelain vessel with matte black slip and carved geometric designs, the interior in warm umber glaze, signed to the underside.
5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.
Leslie Thompson received art instruction from the University of Colorado, and her diploma in Ceramic Design from the Caulfield Institute in Australia. She has exhibited throughout the United States. Her work is inspired by Native American pottery forms as well as the Op art movement.
