Meiji period (1868-1912), the first with and silver mounts, character stamp to silver on interior of dragon clasp (9 x 5.5 x 1 in.); together with an embossed and painted leather pouch with stamped brass clasp and divided interior (7 x 2.5 x 1 in.).
