Description
A classic coin-op vending machine manufactured by Manikin Vendor Co. of Portland, Oregon. The figure, a baker, is one of four various figures used within this machine. When the penny is deposited and lever on the right side flipped, the gentleman baker - this version painted as an American Indian - retrieves a gumball by opening the oven door and then depositing it into a chute for the patron to receive. These machines had a simple yet complicated mechanism and this one will need some adjustment to work properly. Machine appears to be in all original untouched condition, the front coin drawer will not close properly and the machine will need some adjustment. With keys. Reference: "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 89. Condition: (Very Good). Item Dimensions: 11 - 1/4" x 6 - 1/2" x 16".
