You do not find this type of amplifier very often. This is Fender Custom Shop Bass Breaker Amplifier. SERIAL NUMBER: AA13683. COLOR: Tweed Lacquer Covering. Made by the Custom Shop in Brea, CA. in 2002. What this means is that this amplifier was hand wired, point to point by a Fender Amplifier specialist. The person who built this amp signed and dated the inside of the cabinet, Juan G. 06-02. Juan also initialed the production label on the side of the amp. The cabinet consist of solid pine wood and the speakers are special Celestion G12 Vintage 30 12-inch speakers made in Suffolk, England. This amp has a beautiful tweed covering and sprayed with nitrocellulose lacquer. The amplifier is in like new condition. Now the bad news, somehow one of the speaker cones received some damaged and has a partial hole. Interestingly the amplifier sounds pretty good despite the hole. There is no distortion coming out of the damaged speaker. We plugged in a bass guitar, and it sounded fine. Possibly, this type of damage doesn’t affect the speaker, but we definitely felt the need to disclose this. A replacement Celestion speaker will not cost more than $150 as we looked it up on Ebay. Overall, this is a beautiful, like new, with minimal damage amp that can be easily be taken care of. Included with this amp is a warranty card and original amplifier cover.
