Emanuel Schongut 1967 American Flag Head - (American Illustrator, b. 1937) A cast plaster head-form painted in a stars and stripes motif. Signed "E. Schongut 1967" on underside. 12" h x 6" w x 6 1/2" d. Provenance: Personal communication with the artist has confirmed the Flag Head is his work and that the piece was created for decorating the NYC store Michael Malce & Son. Condition: understandable wear for age and use.
