WWII Luftwaffe Sword, by Paul Weyersberg. Sword is approx. 35'' long overall, blade is 28'' in length, scabbard is 29-1/2'' in length. Condition is fine to near excellent. Aluminum hilt fittings show little wear to factory frosting on pommel and crossguard. Frosted gold wash remaining on pommel and crossguard swastikas shows only light scuffs and very minor losses to gilding. Wire wrapped blue leather grip shows light thinning to finish at highpoints, with over 90% blue dye remaining and no nicks or tears. Blade remains bright with only slight imperfections to edge. Scabbard shows light scuffs to body with minor scratches and scuffs to chape. Blue leather hanger is retained with losses to finish and general thinning and wear to edges. All four chape and throat screws are present. Small repair to leather on back side.
