Description
Ancient Roman white paste glass bottle, circa 4th to 6th century C.E., with fragmented, rectangular body and cylindrical neck with flaring lip, the front molded in relief with a striding lion on one side, in a panel framed by foliage, an empty panel enclosed by foliage on the back and a meander pattern to the sides. 4.675" H. Removed from a 936 5th Avenue estate.
