Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Qianlong blue and white porcelain baluster porcelain vases on stands. The porcelain potted in baluster shape vase, large, thick and tall, globular lower body, slight ovoid, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with straight mouth rim, emerge single thick ring on the mid collar, raised on a splayed reverse bowl foot base with slight deep concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in cobalt blue underglazed, depicted of lotus blossom with scrolling foliage above arrays of tropical leaves patterns. Ruyi shaped large pendants filled by scrolling clouds, interspersed by floral and fruiting banquets on the shoulder and foot base rim. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. Elegantly and smooth presented upon a carved Zitan hardwood stand with archaic ruyi pattern. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy.

Mark on under base, a six blue script characters reign mark, Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
