Description
Late Qing dynasty to Republic Period, a small baluster vase of fine porcelain, painted in blue with a bird of prey in a pine tree on white ground. Six character mark in blue on base of Yongzheng and probably by Wang Bu.
H. 20 cm (7 7/8 in.)
Provenance: From the estate of Caleb Keene (1862 - 1954) an important Canadian Furniture painter.

Condition
With a crack from shoulder through body and another hairline crack to the side. A chip to the rim with two short crack down, visible on both sides. With some ink to the base and other surface stain (most likely removable) and a few blemishes in glaze original to firing. Heavy dirt on the inside.
