European, 19th century, pair of cast pewter chestnut urns, having a black ground with figural and landscape chinoiserie decoration in relief and lion mask handles. Henry Moog labels to the interiors of lids with possible later "character" mark to the underside of one. Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent Atlanta businessman. Approx. of one, h. 12.25", w. 5.25", d. 3".

Condition

Scattered non-distracting losses; finial on one lid bent; pleasing wear.
