Description

French or Italian, 20th century. Hollywood Regency vanity or desk in the manner of Maison Jansen, having smokey mirrors with foliate eglomise painting, the front fitted with open shelves with three-drawers above two-doors, on plinth base. Unmarked. Approx. h. 30.5", w. 52.25", d. 24.5".

Condition

Structurally sound. Top with scratches and few fleabites to edge. Bottom panels with several repairs, cracks, and small chips. No apparent missing mirrored panels. Scattered fleabites throughout body. Missing piece of wood to drawer handle. Larger crack to lower left shelf.
