Rare and legendary Lord Elgin direcet read manual wind up watch. Circa 1950's. Features a 14K gold filled ironmask style face and is a jump hour model. Known to collectors / collecting circle as the Chevron due the the fct of the way the case appears to display the company's logo. The word Lord in Elgin meant that these watches featured higher jeweled movements with more desirable cases. Appears to retain it's original stretch band which would fit a variety of wrist sizes. No box. No manual. No paperwork. Signed as shown. Back with engraved dedication to an employee. The watch runs but has not been tested for it's precision or accuracy. Case measures 30mm.
