BONAPARTE CAROLINE: (1782-1839) Queen Consort of Naples 1808-15, wife of Joachim Murat. Younger sister of Napoleon Bonaparte. L.S., Caroline, one page, 4to, Portici, 21st September 1812, to General Count Grenier, in French. Bonaparte refers to the request she has received from a Savoy envoy regarding a Sergent in the Isembourg regiment, and asks the General to try to sort this out stating in part `I would be flattered if I could respond to the Savoy envoy giving him the response he is wishing to receive.´ Very small, minor age wear, otherwise VG
