Delacroix comments on one of his works and its possible sale, and states in part `Je vous remercie beaucoup de l´avis que vous me donnez. Vous connaissez mon gout pour les occasions de ce genre.. ´ (''Thank you very much for the advice you give me. You know how much I like this kind of occasions.. ''), Delacroix further refers to one of his paintings, saying `Si vous aviez bientôt quelque connaissance des intentions des Messieurs de Marseille sur mon tableau, j´ai quelque hate de le savoir a cause du placement possible que j´en aurai peut-être ici; je préfererais pourtant qu´il reste la-bas´ (''If you soon have some knowledge of the intentions of the gentlemen from Marseille on my painting, I am anxious to know it because of the possible placement that I will perhaps have here; I would prefer that it remains there'') With blank integral leaf, only bearing the correspondent´s name.
