Born in Texas and educated at West Texas State University, Michael McCullough earned his B.S. and Masters Degree in Art in 1973. His work reflects his connection to the Southwest. Michael resides with his wife and five dogs in Placitas, New Mexico, and is a member of the Choctaw Iindian Nation in Oklahoma, having been placed in the Roll with the Bureau of Indian Affairs at birth.
