Gustav Stickley, Altered Mission Oak Drop-Arm Settle
circa 1910, model 173 (now with cut-down arms), tall straight rear stiles with slightly pointed caps, wide crest rail with13-slat back, long plank arms with through tenon joinery, the sides with five slats each, straight legs, spring seat with six upholstered loose cushions, red label to back center of crest rail.
38 x 70.75 x 35 in., seat height 16 in. (with cushion)
Rich dark brown patina to the original finish, good tight joinery, overall good usable condition.
