Giovanni Rocchi, Firenze, signed verso, a pair of 19th century grand tour paintings after Guido di Pietro; (Italy, 1395 - 1455) known also as Fra Angelico, executed in tempera on gilded board, depicting angels from 'The Linaioli Tabernacle,' having Gothic style pierce carved and finely gilt frames surrounding full length standing angels playing a drums and a tambourine, The Linaioli Tabernacle is now located in the National Museum of San Marco in Venice, 4 1/2" x 10" painting, 7 3/4"w x 19"h x 2"d overall size with frame.
