A set four of Spanish Baroque parcel gilt and polychrome decorated relief panels
late 17th/early 18th century
Mounted in two frames.
overall height of each frame 74in (188cm); width 21in (53.5cm); depth 4in (10cm)
Provenance:
Property from a Private Hancock Park Collection.

Condition

Each panel 31 1/2 x 15 1/2in. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracking and losses to timber and decoration as visible in catalogue photo. Wear. Upper left panel with loss to left index finger and right thumb. 3 1/2in age crack next to right foot. Bottom left panel with loss of left arm to Christ. Break to platform. Loss to molding below right foot of saint. Upper right panel right hand lacking. Lower right panel with small losses to plinth below left foot. Scattered holes to back. New hinges to mount as doors.
