second quarter 19th century, the eighteen-light chandelier with a bold hexagonal standard, set with gilt-bronze masques supporting molded candle branches decorated with gilt-bronze drip pans and patinated sockets, the lower portion decorated with gilt-bronze acanthus leaves, the upper portion with spiral reeding framed with pierced scrollwork and swags of fruit.
