Vintage Southwestern Sterling Turquoise necklace, it is 18" long and 2.5mm wide with alternating squared corner oblong links. Total weight is 10.54 grams. The pendant is appx. 1.25" long including the bail and 1/2" wide. Age is appx. 1970's-1980's. The pendant has an elongated oval simulated turquoise cabochon - I believe it is simulated because the black veining is more like a feathered dye which is a created "tell" from being the real thing. The sterling in both the pendant and chain has been tested and tests as stering. The chain is signed AGI Italy and is a very nice quality chain with a spring clasp. The pendant is marked .925 but not signed by the maker. The chain can be swapped out with a different chain if you wish to change the look as the bail is large enough to easily do that. Nice quality chain and the pendant has a great Southwestern design, it is only the stone that is not authentic. Good condition to very good condition with some typical tarnish on the pendant that can be polished to be bright like the chain if desired. See photos. This came from a PA auction/estate sale.
