Description
This is a very good condition, turn of the century pickelhaube-style German Fire helmet, with a boiled leather body, nickel plated front plate, central comb, and fittings. Central plate has a shield with a standing lion and helmet with crossed fire axes., Leather lining is still intact as is the chinstrap, which retains the correct Prussian and Imperial German cockades. Condition overall is very good, and this configuration was typical of the 1890-1910 period.
