Description

Manufactured by the E. & H.T. Anthony Co. of New York. One of Anthony's iconic cameras, the Climax Detective was designed by William H. Lewis of the famed W. & W.H. Lewis Photographic Co. of New York circa 1890. Lewis Assigned his patents for the Climax to Anthony who manufactured the camera. This is the wood body model. Original finish on box, focus works well, shutter sets and trips, leather strap intact, removable viewing lens present as well as the brass lens cap. An extended plate holder could be ordered as an option for this camera which it does not have. Does not come with a ground glass or plate holders. Measures 10.25" long, 7.5" wide, 5.5" tall.
