Native American, Southwestern United States, Navajo, ca. early to mid-20th century CE. A beautiful pair of silver and turquoise jewelry, including a pendant and ring. The pendant is comprised of two large American silver dollars that are welded to a silver pendant with two turquoise stones inlaid in ovoid bezels. The coins are both minted 1923 with an integral loop welded to the back for suspension. The ring features a broad shank that branches into three arms that support the silver ovoid face. The face has a recessed sawtooth bezel with a turquoise stone, on the other side has an incised motif of a dancing kachina. The interior is signed by B. Yazzie, an unknown artist. The ring is wearable, and the pendant could be strung on a cord and worn.
