Rare 1990-1992 Fender Squire Stratocaster USA Made. SERIAL NUM: 001182. COLOR: Black polyurethane finish. WEIGHT: 7lbs 9.8ozs This is a rare Fender Squire Stratocaster from the early 1990s, it was rumored that Fender Japan who was making Squires during that period, had not been able to produce the Squire line. Fender USA had taken over the project for a brief period and this is one of those USA made Squire guitars. Notice the decal on the headstock Squire by Fender, Stratocaster Made in USA. Decal is underneath the finish. This strat is 100% original including pickups, 5-way switch, pot jack, bridge tuners. All screws, pickguard and knobs have all aged nicely and naturally. This guitar is in nice playing condition being over 30 years old. A few dents, scratches and swirling. Neck has a 9.5 radius with some fret ware. Plenty of fret ware life left. Neck features a nice satin look and feel to it. Original serial number stamped on the neck plate reads 01182 as stated above in description. This guitar comes with a perfect fitting aftermarket hard-shell case and key (Fender did not have cases for Squire guitars), tremolo arm. Case measures approx. 41in x 14in x 4in overall.
