A mid-20th Century Swiss "hermetic" lever in a leather-covered case. Circular nickelled split three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator and shockproof jewelling, uncut balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed square metal dial, applied gilt batons, gilt luminous hands. Rectangular gilt case, sliding gilt mounted shells covered in brown crocodile-effect leather. These shells slide apart to reveal the dial of the watch. Small hinged easel stand.
