mid 18th/early 19th century, comprising: six shallow dishes with blue and white borders, armorial and pseudo armorial decoration, gilt rims, including a pair with banner "Spero Meliora"; sauceboat and tray, blue enamel borders, gilt rims and initials "ED(?)"; two teacups with blue and white interior borders, gilt rims, molded handles, armorial and pseudo armorial decoration, one with banner "Nil Disperandum" (sic.); two milk jugs, molded handles, blue and white and enamel borders and pseudo armorial decoration, gilt highlights and initials "AI(?)" and "JIM(?)"; two enamel decorated footed cups, one with pheasant shooting scene, one with acrobats and performers; shallow dish with lobed edges, blue and white border with enamel figural decoration; largest 9-1/2 in. diameter
