(Arden, North Carolina, 1921-1962) all with aubergine glazes, five vase forms, sizes ranging from 3-1/4 to 8-7/8 in., small baluster form vase and one two handled vase with pink glazed interior; pitcher form, 8 in.; various "potter at wheel" marks on bases, dates from the 1930s and 1940s, two with "W.B. Stephen" marks on base dated 1934 and 1936

Condition

glaze voids and anomalies as made, some with minor surface abrasions, several chips to base edges of pitcher, one two handled vase, and large vase, several hairlines down from rim on large vase measuring 2, 3, and 3-1/2 in.
