20th century, parcel gilt mahogany. A double pedestal example with scrolled and acanthus decorated feet and octagonal shafts, the rectangular top with a gilt gadrooned edge. Together with a set of twelve George II style armchairs in mahogany that feature ball and claw feet, shell carved knees and seat rail, shepherd's crook arms that terminate in eagle heads and a back with a single carved splat and shell carved crest.

Dimensions:The table: 115" long without the two leaves, 173" with the leaves in place. Width: 50 1/2", height: 31". Chairs: 28" arm to arm, 20" deep, the seat height is 19" and the overall height is 40 1/2".

Provenance:From a New Jersey collection.

The table is in good condition with expected wear and some minor veneer losses. The chairs have old repairs, some losses and some loose elements that will need repair. The upholstery is in generally good condition.
