Description
Zarco Guerrero (American, B. 20th C.) Noh Style Mask, "Osaka," hand-carved mahogany. Zarco began carving wood in 1986 when he received the Japan Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. He lived in Kyoto, Japan for one year and was the first non-Japanese apprentice of Master Noh Mask carver Joshun Fukakusa. Size: 9'' x 6'' x 4'' (23 x 15 x 10 cm). Property from the Jim and Kit Horne Collection.
