28" 1907 13 (Incised) (JUMEAU) Doll with blue paperweight eyes, open mouth, pierced ears, very long dark brown human hair wig, heavy molded pate incised 12. Unmarked French papier mache jointed body with separate hands. Dressed in antique white cotton clothing - dress with eyelet ruffle on yoke, pin tucks and eyelet on skirt hem. Aqua silk satin sash. Petticoat, pantaloons, lace socks. Decorated bonnet made from antique fabric and trims. White oilcloth 12 PARIS (Bee symbol) DEPOSE shoes. BeBe pin at neckline. ("Nicole".) Condition: chips on socket hole. Mold imperfections on rim edge. Wig pulls. Red firing line/imperfection under chin. Black kiln specks/rub on end of nose. Loss of paint on both hands. Right thumb tip missing.
