Pair of Nagoya-style Cloisonne Vases, Japan, attributed to Kaji Tsunekichi (1803-1883), structured in three parts including a baluster-form trumpet-mouthed vase, a floral rim in the middle as the connector, and a base in the shape of a shoulder split into three pointed feet, the vase decorated with two lobed panels with a bird on a branch and chrysanthemums, against a variously patterned ground, unsigned, ht. to 26 1/2 in.

Condition: warping to mouth rim, cracked enamels to some areas, one with loosened joinery.
