French Louis XV Style Carved Oak Buffet a Deux Corps, 19th c., the arched bowfront rounded corner crown over a floral and leaf carved arched frieze, above double arched glazed doors with brass fiche hinges and escutcheons, flanking a central glazed pilaster, on a rounded corner base with two setback carved fielded panel cupboard doors, with like hardware, the interior fitted with two drawers, on scrolled cabriole legs joined by an arched skirt, H.- 94 1/4 in., W.- 55 1/2 in., D.- 20 1/2 in. Minor shrinkage cracks throughout. Front legs have old repair, filling separating areas from case with plaster. Proper right cabinet doors have antique wood supports nailed to interior. Some modern screws and hardware added for support and cabinet closure. Drawer pulls have eeen replaced with one detached. Key present and functional. Top of lower cabinet is slightly warped. Bottom has some separation between boards. Top in good condition. One hole cut in back for cables. Bottom case has one shelf, upper case has supports for two but the shelves are now missing.
