$1.00 Silver 1878-CC BU but displaying moderate russet-grey toning over somewhat muted satiny mint lustre. When this coin was received by us , it was housed in a dusty, very old-timey 2x2 Kraft envelope (as were all of the other raw silver dollars in this auction that show similar coloration). The toning is thus wholly natural albeit deeper than would be ideal. This scarce coin, along with all of its companions were received too late for grading, thus we leave their fate in the hands of the successful bidders. Est. $380.
