Enrique Yáñez is the founder and director of the cultural platform Pangea Cultura, the Ruido movement (Galicia/Ciudad Real) and the Revuelta movement (Madrid). He was also the director of the school E.D.E.N. Escuela De Educación Natural (Espacio creativo) until 2016. In 2008 he began his academic training studying Business Administration of Art Galleries at Abbey College in the United Kingdom, developing a research on the Anglo-French-European Avant-Garde (Republic of Ireland). In 2009 he returned to Spain and studied primitive human morphology, preparing for future exhibitions. He also studied Artistic Serigraphy at the E. A. Pedro Almodóvar de la E. A. Pedro Almodóvar in Ciudad Real and Advanced Studies in Applied Sculpture Arts at the E. A. Pablo Picasso in A Coruña. Yáñez holds a degree in Philosophy from the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds a Master's degree in Moral and Political Philosophy (UNED) and a Master's degree in Teacher Training, specialising in Geography and History (URJC). His work is represented in the main art fairs in Spain such as ARCO and the ESTAMPA Fair, and throughout his artistic career he has participated in numerous solo exhibitions including; House of Art, Malvern, UK (2008), El vacío de las sombras, Estudio Laura Domínguez, Guadalajara (2011), Centro Cultural Río Henares, Azuqueca de Henares (2011), La vergüenza, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Ciudad Real, Estudio Laura Domínguez, Guadalajara (2012), Gracias, Alcarria, Espacio Ibercaja, Guadalajara (2014), De lo concreto a lo creciente, Vector Cultural, Madrid (2014). Ve vidas y vidas ajenas, Sala de Exposiciones Municipal, Azuqueca de Henares, Guadalajara (2014), Vector Cultural, Madrid (2014), Proyecto Nada Bueno, Auditorio de Las Rozas, Madrid, coordinated by Carlos Delgado Mayordomo (2015), Alumbramiento, exhibition hall of the Centro Buero Vallejo, Guadalajara (2018) and Ostensión Fósil, Sala Maruja Mallo, Las Rozas, Madrid, by Carlos Delgado Mayordomo (2020). Throughout 2022 and 2023 Yánez will hold several exhibitions, such as a site-specific solo show at the Complutense Philosophy Department, a solo show at the Fundación Ibercaja (Guadalajara), another at the Sala de Arte Antonio Pérez (linked to the Fundación Antonio Pérez, Cuenca), as well as participating in a group project at the Museo Nacional del Grabado in Marbella.
