British WWI medal pair including 1.) A 1914 Star medal with "5TH AUG-22ND NOV.1914" bar impressed named "45876 SJT H.R. KERRISON. R.F.A.". Medal exhibits some wear with wear to ribbon. 2.) British WWI Victory medal impressed named "45876 B.Q.M. SJT H.R. KERRISON. R.A.". Medal exhibits some wear with wear to ribbon. 3.) Miniature WWI medal trio with slight wear to ribbons. 4.) Royal Artillery hat badge. 5.) Italian "Armata degli Altipiani" silver medal lacking ribbon. Medal was given to the Italian, French and British troops who were involved in the Piave battle (15-24 June 1918) against Austro-Hungarian troops. 6..) "Old Contemptibles Association Aug 4 to Nov 22 1914" collar stud numbered on reverse "2081". 7.) A sterling "British Great War Veteran 1914-1919" collar stud. The grouping is housed in a brass Princess Mary 1914 Christmas Box measuring 3.5" x 5.25" x 1.25" that exhibits some slight wear. Herbert R. Kerrison was a Battery Quarter Master Sergeant in the Royal Field Artillery. Provenance: Stanley Bright collection.
