Vintage sterling silver Abalone Bird Brooch, Mexico, inlaid abalone and etched accents on face and winds. This is about 2 -1/8" wide and slightly over 1" tall at the highest to lowest points. Weight is 3.48 grams. This is a 1960's or earlier pin to my best estimation and appears to be a handmade piece and is stamped on the back - you can read Mexico but there is more but I cannot read it. Good condition with patina that can be cleaned to look new. See photos. (Locator Number W.2.417C.8)
