With folded sheet from the press laid in announcing their new bulding on Commercial St. in San Francisco. Robert J. Woods in Zamorano 80 states: "John Henry Brown was a fur trader, bartender, citizen-soldier, hotel builder, capitalist, man of affairs, and author...Brown observed and told of many happenings here.
