DESCRIPTION: Renaissance Revival Victorian bookcase. Walnut and burl veneer double door bookcase. American circa 1870-1880. Rectilinear case resting on a bolding base molding with equally bold carved top. Adjustable shelves behind two shaped glass doors flanked by carved full columns. Entire case in highly figurative wood. MEASUREMENTS: 72" high x 22" deep x 49-1/2" wide. CONDITION: 1/2" loss to veneer to lower left. Refinished.
