From the Stroh (Stroh's) Brewing Co. of Detroit Michigan circa late 19th century. Appears to be nickel plated steel. Marked on reverse: "Groves 1883 Patent" The front reads as follows: "B. Stroh Brewing Co. Lager Beer Detroit, Mich - B. Stroh President, J. Stroh Secy & Treas. Offices - 275 Elizabeth Street - Annual Capacity 300,000 Barrels - See that the Cork is branded with our trademark" The medals shown on the tray read: "Queen Victoria Jubilee born may 24th 1819" "American Exposition London 81" "Awarded to B. Stroh Brewing Company 1889" "Awarded by the Detroit International Fair 1891". Measures 12" in diameter.

Condition

There is a tiny hole on one side that may or may not be original and several small spots of oxidation shown in the last photos.
