Description
This is a very nice map Paris and its environs. Paris was much smaller in those day, extending slightly beyond the Ile Saint-Louis and Ile de la Cite in a circular fashion. The map covers from the Palace of Versailles and its gardens in the south and west to nearly Roissy-de-France in the North and East. The Seine flows prominently through the map. It is full of topographical, river and canal details as well as towns and villages, roads and streets, railroads, many parks, key sites, etc. As the title indicates, this is a a reduced in size version of Delagrive's map. The stamp on the bottom is that of the Louvre. Expectedly, this is an early 1800s version.
