A Chinese jade q'in plaque dating from the 18th century with a hardwood stand. The plaque is carved in the form of a bat with 4 smaller bats, ruyi motifs, and a Shou medallion.

Dimensions are: 3 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/8 inches wide X 1/8 inches thick, 8.89 cm X 17.46 cm X 0.32 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: Good condition.

Provenance: The lot comes with a copy of provenance documentation. From a collector in Atlanta, Georgia. She and her late husband owned a department store in Atlanta, and they were world travelers. Most of the items in their collection were acquired by them from the 1940s to the 1970s.
