A Chinese white jade snuff bottle dating from the 19th century. The bottle's pink glass stopper has a metal spoon.

Dimensions are: 2 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches long X 1 inches wide, 6.4 cm X 5.1 cm X 2.5 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: There is chipping to the rim and foot.

The items in the collection were acquired starting in the 1970s from auction houses including Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams, as well as from various private collections in the United States. Works from this collection were offered in Oakridge Auction Gallery's December 2, 2021 sale titled "Appreciating Extravagance: Chinese Artwork from an Important Collection in Ohio."
