Flight Lieutenant L. H. Abbott Royal Air Ministry official press photographer on his return to Bari, Italy, after photographing Douglas' Dakotas of No. 267 Squadron RAF over the Balkans from 1942-1945.
Original photographs of Winston Churchill and the King of Italy with senior officials including Mountbatten, aviation battles, aerial views, planes, troops, sites, bombings, candid photos and so much more.
In addition there are images of Abbott taking aerial photographs in flight.
Included is his personal photograph album showing both wartime and family images.
Approximately 300+ black and white photographs.
